Matchstick is part of a Republic squadron that attacks the Separatist ship Malevolence. His new Y-wing bomber is damaged by a neebray mantis on the way to the enemy ship's next target, but Matchstick keeps going, eager to remain in the fight. At Kaliida Shoals, the clone trooper battles vulture droid fighters as the Malevolence blasts the squadron with its powerful new ion cannon.
